🔍 Transparency & Selection Guidelines

✅ What counts as a verified vote

Every vote we count has passed multiple verification layers:

• Email verification — the voter confirmed their email address
• Browser fingerprint — automated scripts are blocked (no-JavaScript votes are rejected)
• Timing verification — votes submitted too fast for a human to read the page are blocked
• Disposable email screening — votes from temporary email services are held and not counted
• LinkedIn verification — new voters must provide a valid LinkedIn profile

🛡 How we detect and neutralize vote manipulation

Our platform runs 13 automated integrity checks on every candidate:

• Device farms — dozens of votes from the same browser/device are flagged
• Disposable email detection — votes from temporary email services are silently held
• Velocity analysis — unnatural vote spikes are identified
• Bot cadence detection — machine-timed voting patterns are caught
• Self-voting detection — candidates voting for themselves are flagged
• IP and network analysis — votes from the same network are cross-checked
• Company mobilization analysis — when most votes come from one company's employees
• Duplicate identity detection — the same person using multiple accounts
• AI integrity assessment — every candidate receives an independent AI analysis
• + 4 additional proprietary checks

🏆 How winners are selected

1. Public voting (70%) — verified votes from the community
2. Judges panel (30%) — an independent panel reviews each shortlisted candidate
3. AI integrity review — every finalist receives an AI-generated integrity assessment that judges review
4. Selection panel approval — final results are subject to panel approval

📋 Why some votes aren't counted

Some votes are held (recorded but not counted) when they come from:

• Disposable or temporary email addresses
• Automated scripts or bots
• The same device voting many times
• Suspicious voting patterns

Held votes are preserved for audit purposes and reviewed by the selection panel. Individual voters are not penalized — some may have been directed to vote by others without knowing it was inappropriate.
