I am a Cybersecurity, Information Security and Technology Risk professional, driven by a passion for securing technology, solving complex challenges and creating meaningful impact. My journey has taken me across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Applications, Digital Banking, Technology Risk and IT Audit, where I have led complex domestic and international assignments and worked on critical technology and security initiatives. One of my proudest contributions was pioneering a structured Technology Asset Inventory and Risk Assessment initiative within the banking environment, establishing a comprehensive approach from asset identification and classification to ownership, risk assessment and continuous monitoring—an area that has since become an increasingly important regulatory and industry focus. My hands-on cybersecurity journey includes vulnerability assessments, SOC and incident-management initiatives, honeypot deployment and monitoring, digital forensics, security risk assessments and critical cybersecurity projects, including supporting projects through implementation, go-live, security strengthening and ongoing monitoring. Today, I lead complex Technology and Cybersecurity Audit & Risk engagements, bringing together technical depth, governance, regulatory perspective and business understanding. Continuous learning has been central to my journey. I hold 51+ professional certifications, recently achieving CISA with 782/800 (97.75%), alongside ECSA (96%) and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Senior Lead Auditor credentials. I have also been part of Women Leadership initiatives at HBL and was recognized twice as Toastmaster of the Day for leadership and communication. I believe a Rising Star is not defined by how far they have come, but by the impact they create, the challenges they embrace, and the leaders they inspire along the way. My journey reflects exactly that—and I am committed to making an even greater impact on the future of Cybersecurity and Technology.
