I am a Technology Audit and Information Security professional with extensive experience in IT audit, information security, technology risk management, cybersecurity assurance, and regulatory compliance within the banking and financial services sector. Currently, I am working at Raqami Islamic Digital Bank in a Technology/IT Audit leadership role, where I focus on providing independent assurance over digital banking technology, information security, IT infrastructure, core banking systems, cloud environments, applications, databases, networks, cybersecurity controls, third-party services, and technology governance. Previously, I spent over four years at HBL, gaining diverse experience across Branch Audit, Digital Transformation, Business System Assurance, and Technology Audit. My experience includes auditing mobile and internet banking, core banking systems, Raast/payment systems, cloud environments, IT infrastructure, access management, vulnerability and patch management, SIEM/log monitoring, secure SDLC, cryptography, third-party risk, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery. I am passionate about strengthening technology governance, identifying emerging technology risks, improving control environments, and helping organizations build secure, resilient, and compliant digital banking platforms.
